The WBG and the Kingdom of Morocco have a country partnership framework for FY19 to 25 and IFC is scaling up its program in Morocco to promote inclusive private sector growth and shared prosperity.
The Program Assistant is expected to be an essential member to support the scale up of IFC program in the Maghreb.
The Team Assistant will be based in Rabat, Morocco.
Duties and Accountabilities :
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to :
Maintaining a tracking system for issuing and monitoring office supplies and consumablesProvide administrative and basic operational support to IFC staff and consultants based in RabatPurchase office supplies required by the Country Office, using the relevant procedures and in coordination with Finance and Procurement teamsHigh quality word processing including proofreading and editing a variety of reports, correspondence and documents in French and English.Independently drafting memoranda, letters and faxes.Establishing and updating/maintaining files, including the division’s files and supervisors’ files. Providing assistance for the organization and preparation of events, conferences, workshops, meetings, etc.Providing support to visiting missions and ensure trips clearance after verifying security information.Making travel arrangements for relevant supported teams at Rabat office.Assist with other administrative tasks as needed from IFC Rabat teamProviding backup support to other ACS staff when required.Insure close coordination and collaboration with IBRD country office staff. Retrieving/extracting information from various sources, including magazine publications, IFC Library and the internet as necessary.Contribute to projects and activities as appropriate for the IFC teamIn close collaboration with supervisors, assist in preparing briefing materials and presentations and maintain background information and briefing materials.
University degree and at least 4 years of relevant work experience in a large International institution or private sector organization, working experience in an international organization is a plus.Strong work ethics and commitment to high standards including acting with integrity at all timesAbility to communicate effectively is essentialExcellent secretarial and administrative skills.Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude and flexibility to work effectively in a team-oriented and multi-cultural environment. Ability to prioritize workload, be highly organized, detail oriented and work well under pressure with minimum supervision to meet deadlines.High degree of initiative, proactivity, and commitment to meeting deadlines.High level of proficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point and good knowledge and curiosity for IT tools.Strong French and excellent English (verbal and written), including ability to draft a variety of correspondence and edit and translate materials using proper grammar, punctuation and style.Willingness to perform ad hoc tasks and to travel occasionally.
