The Cambria County Commissioners are pleased to announce two new grant programs, the Cambria County Non-Governmental COVID-19 Relief Grant Program and the Cambria County Governmental COVID-19 Relief Grant Program.

Both programs will be funded using federal CARES Act funds provided to the County by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania under the DCED COVID-19 County Relief Block Grant.

Funding Information

The amount made available under each program will be based on the availability of funds and the overall needs of the County, governments within the County, small businesses, local tourism, and nonprofit organizations within Cambria County.

Non-Governmental COVID-19 Grant Program:
The Cambria County Board of Commissioners has established the Cambria County NonGovernmental COVID-19 Relief Grant Program. Funding will be made available to small businesses, local tourism, and nonprofits in the County based on the availability of funding and the needs of small businesses, local tourism, and nonprofit organizations within the County that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 public health crisis.
Governmental COVID-19 Relief Grant Program
Cambria County Governmental COVID-19 Relief Grant Program was established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which is creating significant economic hardship for municipalities across Cambria County.
Eligibility Criteria

Small businesses and Section 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(19) non-profit entity under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
The applicant was and/or is negatively impacted by COVID-19, including loss of revenue and other eligible business interruption losses
Applicants must have less than 100 employees to be considered unless engaged in the tourism industry
Applicants must be a for-profit business or eligible nonprofits headquartered and operated in Cambria County
Applicants that received funds from any other source under the CARES Act including but not limited to funds received under the Paycheck Protection Program, or the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program are eligible to receive funds under this program, however, priority will be given to applicants that did not receive such funds.
