myAgro is an award-winning non-profit social enterprise based in West Africa. We have pioneered a mobile savings model that allows farmers to invest their own funds in high-quality seed, fertilizer, and agricultural training to increase their harvest and income by 50-100%. Our North Star is to help 1 million farmers increase their incomes by $1.50 per day by 2025 and lift themselves out of poverty.

About the role

Senegal and Mali are our largest and fastest-growing countries of operation. As the Regional Growth Manager you will design expansion strategies and lead execution to grow myAgro’s operations to new areas, and reach hundreds of thousands more farmers each year. You will manage a diverse team of Program Associates and field staff across two countries. You will report to the Regional Director of Sales Operations.

You Will:

  • Develop and execute expansion strategies to achieve myAgro’s goal of reaching 1 million small-scale farmers by 2025
  • Work with different teams across myAgro (e.g. Sales, HR, Finance, Product, Leadership) and lead work plan to achieve target number of new village launches
  • Play with large datasets to distill insights that help inform short-term tactics and long-term strategies
  • Design standard operating procedures and performance indicators and ensure compliance
  • Manage a diverse team of 2+ Program Associates and 100+ field staff
  • Manage internal communications, sharing information, analyses, status updates, plan progress and synthesized insights across all teams, from senior leadership to field staff
  • Create and operationalize partnership strategies (e.g. with NGOs, census agencies, satellite imaging organizations)

You Have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience expanding products and program operations to new territories in Africa
  • Minimum 3 years of experience using data analytics in strategy design and tactical field execution
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and best practices – ability to create work plans, delegate, and meet goals
  • Great people management experience – ability to recruit and develop reports
  • Fluency in French and English
