About the role

You will be part of the sales team, to lead our commercial development in the West Africa region. The role consists of 3 pillars:

New Sales (Hunting)

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to ensure revenue goals are met/exceeded.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers through direct prospecting, relationships, referrals and inbound leads.
  • Generate revenue through strategic sales and channel partnerships.
  • Run product demonstrations and convert leads into paying customers
  • Conduct in-depth research on competitors’ products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.

Upsell (Farming)

  • Regular touch base with our existing customers in the region to increase our Account value
  • Work with Operations Team to implement appropriate outreach campaigns to present new features
  • Push for upsell (new plan, new features, etc.)

Partners Management

  • Identify and recruit relevant partners (IT firms, consultancies, etc)
  • Train and educate partners on our products
  • Support partner in identifying/closing leads
  • Assess partner performance, conduct regular touch base to identify issues, and make sure partner reaches its objectives

About you

  • Bachelors Degree from a reputable university.
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in Sales
  • Team player, self-motivated, energetic
  • Proven track record of achieving sales revenue quota
  • Ability to work diligently and ethically toward the achievement of goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results driven and work well in fast paced environments.
  • Good initiative, judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent networker and listener with strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
