Poste proposé : Process Control Engineer
Reporting directly to the Process Plant Electrical Coordinator, the incumbent needs to take full responsibility and accountability for all areas related control systems across the Process Plant. The main aim of the position is to ensure that all control systems are maintained across the Process Plant which comply to set safety and legal compliance standards.
Missions :
- Develop an automation and instrumentation strategy to drive process improvements and manage relationships with SCADA, PLC vendor and 3rd party programmers.
- Install and configure Wonder Ware InTouch Scada, Allan Bradley PLC network hardware, software, and related equipment.
- Focused on sustaining control systems reliability and upgrade needs.
- Work closely with Operations, Maintenance to understand and address specific process areas’ control systems challenges and opportunities.
- Develops and monitors project control systems including schedules, budgets, and percent complete.
- Implement and testing of design modifications to process control systems.
- Troubleshoot and correct issues with the process control systems.
- Provide technical support to technicians and work teams and serve as technical resource for the department.
- Provides capital and expense project support.
- Troubleshoot daily operating of process control issues.
- Managing changes associated with SCADA and PLC systems, document changes on MOC system.
- Creating, maintaining, modifying, and troubleshoot Wonder Ware InTouch (SCADA) graphics.
- Overseeing and managing SCADA Alarm Management System
- Providing and maintaining documentation for all SCADA and PLC systems including software product licenses.
- Monitoring SCADA and PLC system performance, including software updates and maintenance strategies.
- Develop a strategy to address system obsolescence and incorporate a long-term lifecycle plan to keep control systems current across the site.
- Create Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s) and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s)
- Filmware, PLC and SCADA Back-Ups

Profil recherché pour le poste : Process Control Engineer
Requirements:
- Recognised degree in Engineering or related field.
- Specialist in Process Control Systems
- Minimum 6 years-experience in a Process Plant environment.
- Mining industry experience preferable.
- Process Plant related management experience.
- Multi-skilled with good knowledge and understanding of all areas of a Gold Processing Plant.
- High-level of knowledge of local competencies.
- French / English language skills preferable.
- Working experience with pack office Microsoft.
- Experience of working effectively in a senior management team environment.
- Experience working in multicultural environment.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and build effective relationships and networks.
- Demonstrate strong conceptual skills and be capable of developing lateral and practical solutions.
- Ability to respond to a changing work environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
- Reputation for integrity and ethics.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
