Job location : on the mining site of Mako, Kédougou, Senegal.

Type of contract: PMC / CDI with a trial period of 03 months renewable.

External Description:

• Provide training to all employees and subcontractors of the company’s operations ;
• Support training activities, including record keeping, to ensure that training is conducted and meets all site training requirements and skill standards;
• Conduct scheduled training as needed by the site at required frequencies with an emphasis on process skills training ;
• Liaise with other departments as directed to develop training initiatives;
• Provide technical advice and support on training issues and keep abreast of industry trends in legislation associated with training;
• Conduct competency assessments as needed and in a timely manner;
• ISO Certification Assistance;
• Provide hospitality service to employees, contractors and visitors;
• Organize training materials, process onboarding materials to completion as needed by the business;
• Maintain LMS training system and training records;
• Develop training modules based on business needs;
• Assist in maintaining the LMS training system and training records as needed;
• Assist in the review of the site TNA in collaboration with the processing department and other areas of the site ;
• Provide training reports in accordance with site standards.

Profile

• Level 1 and 2 Train-the-Trainer Certificate;
• Certificate IV in Training and Evaluation;
• 5 years experience in a mine site environment and in the same position;
• Advanced knowledge of a process plant or any related process plant qualification;
• Working knowledge of Senegalese mining and related legislation;
• First Aid Qualifications;
• Ability to work with all levels of literacy;
• Sensitivity to and consideration of a multicultural work environment;
